Or trying at least.
My place of employment recently moved to downtown San Diego, and I recently moved to north of Balboa Park. In case you aren’t familar with San Diego, this means two things. 1) I am a 15-20 minute bike ride from downtown. 2) The city bus goes right down my street.
This means that my car is reserved only for special occasions. This also means I get to see all the sketchy people that ride the bus.
Also, my company is paying for my bus pass because there is no parking downtown.
It is great.
