I spent the past 14 days in Thailand (with a 5 hour stint in Narita, Japan). My New Year was spent on the beach at the Full Moon Party on Koh Phangan, and then I spent some time in the Krabi area, including Krabi Town, Koh Phi Phi and Ao Nang. So needless to say it will take me a few days to get back to reality. If I can get my ass in gear, over the next few weeks I will try to post some photos and some of my journal entries from the trip.
Hope all is well with all of you, and that you had a holiday as good as I did!

Can't wait to hear your recap! I've heard good things about Full Moon Party over there.
Thanks for the comment Grace. The Full Moon Party was definitely fun, but it wasn't the highlight of the trip as I thought it would be. Thailand in general exceeded my expectations, so there were so many other great parts of the trip as well. Btw, I see you have a WP blog now, I will start following… I had just checked your Tumblr blog the other day and had wondered why you hadn't posted since last summer!
Oh wow. Koh Phi Phi looks beautiful – I can't wait to see the rest of the pics. 🙂
Richard, thanks! It was quite beautiful, though the main beaches on Phi Phi were very heavily touristed, probably the most of any of the areas we visited. The island has no cars, so it was a 20-40 minute trek to get to the less crowded areas. Also, I really enjoyed following your Cape to Cairo trip. Mine was quite tame compared to yours!
Very great post. I simply stumbled upon your blog and wanted to mention that I’ve truly enjoyed browsing your blog posts. After all I’ll be subscribing to your feed and I am hoping you write once more very soon!
